We stopped by Ian Johnson’s place to pick up the first batch of paintings to be shown this May, and we were quite inspired to say the least. His small studio was super clean and calm, its walls cluttered with finished and half-finished paintings. Their imagery and colors had us jumping with excitement: the sparkling gold rays, the delicately rendered black and white faces of jazz giants. We had a nice chat with Ian, and we promise he has great things in store. Stay tuned for an interview and preview pics.
